(Brennan) Johnson Again Olé Olé!

Still can’t believe he was given the goal for that final, it was definitely an own goal.

The very last angle here shows he touches the ball.

Not sure thats true, plenty of attacking players have flourished under him, you just need to work hard with it

Hard work indeed (often to the detriment of creating a system where strikers can flourish long-term).

I bet we'd struggle to name a striker who has played for him and got 20 league goals in any one season..

Truly, the graveyard of strikers imo

Johnson is not a striker, just like Grealish wasn't a striker and did well under Moyes....

Midfielders can do very well for Moyes. But generally not strikers, maybe some inside-forwards who can put it about (not really Johnson's forte).
A system that relies on Johnson on the beak night work for him or a system where the ball is flashed into the box constantly.

I just don't see Johnson flourishing under Moyes

Give the context of Everton and who they are, I think many attacking players flourished off memory, just because they may of not hit over 20 goals doesn't mean much. Saha, Johnson, Cahill, Yakubu, Felani when he played off the Striker. Beto has done better under him than under Dyche.

Not sure its a graveyard

Look how far back you had to get some of those names though.
Then saying a striker did better under Moyes than Dyche says it all.

Moyes has budgetary restrictions like most manager, including the likes of Poch, yest many more maangers can get their attackers to flourish whilst generally he can't. He is absolutely the manager a striker wouldn't want to play for

Keep moving the goalposts there hombre

Hope he settles down and does well. Don't care that he apparently never tracked back or whatever...he scored (yes he scored it) the goal that won us the cup and many others along the way and I'll always remember him fondly for that, as I'm sure everyone will in 10-20 years when he's wheeled out at our celebratory dos.

Yeh look I don't think saying he had limitations is a massive dig, I will be hugely fond of his time and him winning us a Trophy, I certainly hope he gets his career back on track. Despite the nonsense suggested, I think Moyes will be a positive influence on him
