Am I reading Spurs fans saying Romero isn't world class? First choice for one of the best performing Argentinanian team in defence. Blimey, are we really cutting off our noses to spite our faces!! He loves playing for his country, deal with it.
 
With all due respect, with the collective knowledge on here, I am shocked people are acting like they have never seen what engineering a move looks like. If he goes to Arsenal I will put £500 behind the bar for a Glory Glory get together, might as well make it interesting rather than sniping at each other all the time

Who really rates him at the highest elite level? That isn't really the reputation he has outside of the Spurs bubble. Most outside fans think he's significantly worse than he actually he is.

Which outside fans? The ones in England who think he is a psycho? Guy has been cast as a villain in the PL. There are times when he goes over the edge but not as much as he has been carded.

He was also an instrumental part of winning the EL, for all his faults I will hold him in high esteem for that given the importance of winning honours, in the same way I have no interest in pulling down the likes of Tony Parks

It’s not a silly example at all. Pogba has WON a World Cup too. But his career has hardly panned out as world class. Would you consider Otamendi world class?

Never got the hype about Pogba. I don’t even know what league he plays in these days. Has he gone back to Juve or United for the umpteenth time?

He’s brought the villain tag on himself with stupid tackles and brainless red cards. We need to get over this narrative that he’s being unfairly targeted. He’s dirty and that’s why he accumulates so many suspensions.
