If the starting CB in two World Cup finals in a row isn’t world class, then I’m deadset not here. That’s like almost the most perfect literal definition of it.
By that logic I guess that would mean all of Emiliano Martínez, Nicolás Tagliafico, Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Alliste and Julián Álvarez are all world class, which if you do fair enough but thats not how I would classify them all.
 
He is a good footballer, heaven forbid fans back a player that wears the shirt for being good.

You don't win a WC, two Copa America, EL player of the season (post us winning it) without being abit good.

His first season here he was absolutely superb, thrived under Conte
Being a bit good and World Class aren't the same thing for me tbh. I think he's good, very good on his day but he wouldn't quite hit the world class level imo unless it's a relative value rather than an actual standard.
