Getting Romero out the door this summer is of huge importance and would be very, very good work. I personally wish it wasn't happening in an ideal world as he is a fave of mine, however he absolutely needs to leave after all is said and done, and it needs to happen before the season starts/he is slated to return to training.

I think it’s exactly the same reason as why our recruitment has been so good this summer: a plan and an idea of what we want to be. Exactly the thing that’s been missing since 2018, and why most of our transfers since then have been really poor.

I think he will struggle to play into a very mechanical arteta side. That said, with the new time wasting rules and more, arteta might evolve his game to be more organic. Guimwres will be 29 in a few months, so Saudi Sportswashing Machine is getting a good price
