Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

He needs to remove the fear of playing at home. I see green shoots of this, we’re clearly a better side at home now than we have been for months, but last night we looked scared. I don’t know how he goes about getting the confidence in their abilities back into their heads though.

Reason we didn't win last night for me is how crap up front we are
If we had a half decent front three we would have won easily

His post-match press tonight was superb. He is doing everything possible. I think it will be enough and I believe him.
I think it will be enough, but being down to two games (4 including West Ham’s games) it will also be down to luck/variance, anything can happen in a game of football.

Regardless of the ultimate outcome he's done really well. Given us a reason to hope and believe and a reason to look towards a future that could be bright again.

A perhaps strange pessimistic and/or optimistic take... No matter what happens in the penultimate round we'll still be in with a chance in the last game. There was a time when I would have taken that, taken at least not being down before kick off in the last game.

Chelsea game will be an absolute bonkers game. If we can get something from that start getting some statue artists making up some sketches at the very least.

i am more pessimistic than ever and regardless what happens i want dezerbi to stay

if we get relegated i hope lange loses his job too, he doesn't deserve anything more

Where have you got that from?
My opinion, but I don't think there is any way he sticks around in the Championship. I don't think he will be interested, and I'm not sure he'd be the best candidate to get us back up from a league that he probably knows nothing about.

I think it will suit both sides to reach an agreement for him to step aside.

The Italian National Team job is currently being held open too

Hard disagree.

I agree with you, I think he stays if we go down, and I think he’s going to somewhat enjoy the opportunity build the club back up in his image.

Part of me also thinks the only way to break this home hoodoo is to go down. The players were not calm last night, there’s too much pressure, and I think we need a season of winning more often than not at home to get rid of it.

May just be my pessimism talking but I can see West Ham beating Saudi Sportswashing Machine. They will know if they can do it that we aren’t going to get anything at Chelsea. And then it’s in their hands on the final day.

But I think we’ll be ok with RDZ. I think he will absolutely destroy the Championship, I think our young players will gain confidence, and our home form will recover.

I may be wrong, but I think he was agreeing with me. 😆

Instead of spacegoating some of our players, the manager or whatever else, maybe we should give a little credit to the opposing team who are unbeaten in the league for over two months….?

Leeds and Brighton are also teams in great form and we are missing 7/8 players that would start over who we played in those games. If RDZ has some attacking technical players we should have got 6 points from those games.

It’s not just the positive comments relating to our players. It’s also the subtle digs towards our rival Weat Ham. Saying it’s 200% a foul on the corner and he’s confident Leeds will play just as hard against them is to just tip the scales on them getting any favours. The comment about the refs not being calm insinuating they were not prepared to make a tough call on the penalty at the end.
