***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United, Mon May 11th, 8pm, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium***

Really disappointing, we really have no quality going forward. Again I don't fault the effort but we created nothing, did their goalie even make a save.

I think the Maddison one was a pen, what a ridiculous rule that if you get the tiniest touch of the ball you're free to take someone out in the box, it would be a foul anywhere else on the pitch. I'm sick of these stupid decisions and not just because it's us, in general the standards are so poor. Every week there's a howler.

Yup, our 3 most creative players last season were Sonny, Kulusevski and Maddison so it’s no surprise that we’ve played crap football for most of this season barring a few moments from young Simons who needed time to adjust to EPL.

Hopefully we shall actually sign some replacements this summer and Lange won’t rely upon the 3 long term injured being able to carry our team next season.
If Lange is still here then we got bigger problems and our purchasing will not improve

I don’t think that is the rule because uou cAn easily be reckless play for example
But you need the ref to give it first so var. an back their man

He needed to make a sub much earlier
But there wasn’t many attacking options on the bench
The front 3 looked knackered after an hour but they’re the only 3 attackers we have available unfortunately. So gutting we didn’t bring him in earlier with the options the previous managers had, Kudus, Xavi, Odobert, Solanke.. amazing we even look marginally competitive going forward right now.

yes, even if we'd won tonight the Chavs would play out of their skins to try get us relegated. you can completely discard their recent relegation form. they will fight tooth and nail and likely win comfortably. Playing that final game against a Moyes side, ANY Moyes side will be a helluva challenge.

We are in deep deep shiiiiiit.

They're a totally different team now, their players mostly don't know the history and rivalry between us and if they did probably don't care anyway.

As I said at the time, the issue wasn't really the manager it was the players we have available. How anyone expects this group to quality open attacking football is beyond me.
Pep. Jose. Conte. Carlo A. Nobody can make Tel make better decisions. Teach Rich to stand up and be better with a first touch. And just be better technically in any time frame.
If we had a team of 5yrs ago. We wouldn't be here. Nobody from top half of table would want out dross. Bar maybe 4 of them

Well that's always the reason given on commentary, I don't see how that isn't a penalty - clearly takes him out and any touch was minimal at best. Different if you get a big tackle in and take player and ball out.

Yeah but the commentators are people like Alan smith who don’t know the rules
Today he didn’t clean Maddison out though

I am emotionally drained watching that. But, following RDZ's mantra of positive thoughts only and not feeling sorry for ourselves, it is a further point from the drop zone, and we can beat the Chavski cvnts. Plus, no further injuries and Maddison is back

Rightly or wrongly it’s always been the way that if a defender gets a touch then it’s not a penalty. And with that in mind, I don’t think it was a pen.

No but certainly enough contact to put him on the floor which should be enough, if he'd given it on-field it wouldn't have been overturned which is just silly.

On the plus side great to see Maddison back, makes a different to see someone actually wanting the ball.
