Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

So even if a significant amount of people from a certain country (or even region as you said - how wide does that stretch?) - are working, you’d block everyone from that country (or region) because the majority aren’t?

Country yes. In the US data suggests upward of 75% of Somalian immigrant households are on welfare. Unless you can get a skills visa, if your from Somalia you should be refused. Not controversial at all.

As I have said previously. If its such small numbers it shouldn’t be difficult to address and there should be a willingness to do that.
And in the meantime it's perfectly easy to be kind to those here working hard and for people not to use immigration stats as some kind of get out of free card for the rise in hate crime in the UK. In people I mean the wider population and not you, before I am accused of putting words in mouths

Thats different from the original statement of not accepting any immigration from those countries.

In fairness there is a huge hard working Somalian workforce globally

If you come here from Somalia and claim asylum and if your claim is adjudged to be a valid one then you should not be refused asylum.

Again you are putting words in peoples mouths.

Clearly not....

And TBF again I have mentioned being kinder to migrants here working only to have stats or rhetoric produced to kind of suggest it either deserved or somehow justified.

Its fine if you think working migrants are fair game, you could just say you dont think it if you dont and make the point alot clearer

If there is a country where anything like 75% of immigrants are on benefits, we should not accept immigrants from that country.
Maybe the matrix is blocking or controlling my my Google, but isnt it more 60% of them in the US in work? I woukd suspect a large % of those not employed are women who are homemakers given cultural differences and it seems 65% of somali women are unemployed

I don’t think it’s fine. I think it’s an unavoidable consequence.

Its clearly avoidable when you see a Dr who is working for example, your brain can compute that they might, might just be here working and benefit to society and not racially abuse them.

Some just need to engage their brains, I suspect there isnt an appetite to do so though

Of course that is terrible but pulling out these one of events would be like me pulling out a one off story about immigrants sexually assaulting women.

And any sensible person would not conflate all sexual assault with just immigrants whilst calling out the assault without doubt. But the difference would be that sexual assault is a universal issue, not just undertaken by immigrants, so not sure what that example would used to prove and in which context. Whereas its pretty hard for Pakistani Drs to be racist towards themselves.

The example given clearly is not just one off event, racist incidents agaisnt NHS staff have tripled in a year, so it's becoming a more prevalent thing.

Hate crime and racism in the UK is clearly driving upwards.

And people have a choice, they can either mindlessly aim hatred at the wrong audience who are here to work and better their lives or they can set the example they claim to want to see their society to be.

The hypocrisy of it is that these people who carry out these attacks do so. Often making bold speeches about how others are pulling down the quality of society whilst doing exactly what they accuse others of.
