Another thing I find crazy is when people throw around benefits stats including UC claimants. Many many of those people are working the same or more hours as the average person but they get paid such a pittance they need help to be able to be warm and fed and safe. And very few of the people who hate those claimants the most, would be able to do their jobs for one day. Hard work. Care. Retail. Driving.
Where are the facts and figures for this I would be interested in knowing. I have owned a recruitment agency previously.

Yeah it's that much. And most work full time. Pay rents. Council tax. Food. Fuel. Bills. And these people graft hard. The disdain they get from people who have easier lives is vile.

I am actually having a look now at the breakdown a decent % are also either people who are unable to work and their carers.

2m full time care givers in the country, thats stunned me

No I just don’t owe you enough respect to answer. I’ll pick and chose when and what I want to answer to when it comes to you.

You have dodged every question when asked, you are a little snake that won’t answer.

It’s quite pompous to make demands of others answering to your straw man comments and name calling agenda but can’t answer others.

So when I feel like it I may or may not reply when it comes to all things Luton.

Just stop it.
When you have to actually SAY this crap, it's embarrassing, performative nonsense.

Recently it was reported that 40% of UC claimants were working if I remember it right.

Average UC payment is £12,000 per year. If 60% are not working thats 70,000 people. Costing the UK taxpayer £850M per year. Factor in associated costs and this will cost the British tax payer at least £1B per year.

Then you have to factor in what is the tax that’s paid by the remaining 47,500 who are working who won’t be paying £12k per year in tax. So from a purely financial perspective it’s a net negative. But they are benefiting society.

The real issue is that, you could very easily pinpoint the immigrants from particular countries or regions who make up a higher percentage of those not working. And if whoever was in power was prepared to do that, and no longer accept immigrants from those places, you would begin to see peoples views on immigration change and Reform would become less popular. But Labours not going to do that for some stupid reason.

Could you? I mean many cant claim UC as a non national unless they have been here for 5 years which suggests they have been working at some point over that time and paying tax, so in that respect I am not agaisnt them claiming if they are between work anymore than I am a 23 year old national doing the same.

Not sure there is a theme or trend on which nationalities are claiming UC after those 5 years???

Through their immigration status you would know where they have came from and you would know if they have worked and paid taxes.
