He’s similar to RKM in that you can see the talent but he just doesn’t seem to have the mentality to match.

Ange left a year ago. This season Solanke has been crap, I can think of numerous situations where he let his man go, or got pushed off the ball easily.
Richie works works 10 times as hard.

As strong as he is, I would love to see a version of Solanke that is more aggressive with defenders where he really gets in their face and makes their life as difficult as possible.

It's not how often he's played, it's how he's played, he's got the physique, the fitness and the ability, he's been phoning it in.
99% of a forwards job is pressing, he ain't doing it.

However, there is still no correlation between scoring in one of these high-profile games and being a good player/signing as evidenced by both Hoddle aka GHod and Alan Nielsen being on this list.
