If your body isn't in the best condition you are more prone to injury when putting it under stress. Don't know who it was but someone was commenting on the players fitness under Frank and how there appeared to be signs of improvement under Tudor. Pure speculation but if the team had allowed a deterioration in conditioning (perhaps as an overreaction to Ange's regime) it might have exacerbated injury risk. Particularly if you are going from the opposite end of the scale with Ange. Consistency is important for health. Yo yo diets, skipping gym days then going full pelt.....that is bad for your health. The constant chopping and changing of the coaching regime won't help.
