Just keep religion out of anything. Religion should be like your dinner. Have it at home, enjoy it but don’t make others forcibly have to acknowledge it.

Yeah fair enough, that’s the he correct answer.
It’s a football club, not some entity that’s going to make people more religious or individuals feel like they belong more. Can’t even say merry Xmas these days without people correcting you by saying “Seasons greetings”.
It’s all bollox in my opinion.
Where can’t you say Merry Xmas any more?

A quick google shows Walmart advised employees to use Happy Holidays when greeting customers, advice which was then withdrawn. That was 21 years ago.Walmart was the notable one that I recall. A lot of local governments as well.
