If I were Mikey Moore right now I would be thinking I am good enough to walk into our starting 11.

But if I were Mikey Moore would I really want to? Maybe playing for Rangers next season seems more alluring.
 
I'd have MM and LWB in from the start of the season as AM - to begin with swapping after 60mins, alternating as starters.

Wouldn't wear them out, but give them their head playing for us ... before it's all trained out of them
 
How things change - remember all the crying about how this was a bad loan move for him after the first couple of months?


He's absolutely benefitted more through having to earn his place and the respect of the fans than he would have done walking in to a team and automatically being their best player from the beginning.

I admit I thought it was a make or break move for him in term of personal development, it's a tough city for an Englishman to fit in without the added pressure of the sectarianism of the clubs.
It looks like the change of management has helped his progress as the team look much better than when he first joined.
 
I watched the Celtic cup game on Rangers tv and their commentators were raving about him, he wasn’t even playing that well, but they were saying just get the ball to Moore etc. They were very surprised he was substituted on the day. Just a bit of an example of how highly regarded he is up there.

A lot of loans are make or break, so cherry picking a 'make' doesn't prove anything.
I still think an initial loan to a lower league club for a year is beneficial to aclimatise to mens football, then go for the make or break loan.
