Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I agree, however, you also don't throw a kid into the pressure of a relegation fight unless you really have no choice. It would be a brave manager to do that if we lose the game with internationals left out (and probably a sacked one)

You absolutely can't and we are seeing it with whats happening now, granted Tudor has had one game (its not on him anyway IMO) but the mix of youth and "lesser" senior players or returning from injuries IS NOT IMO the way you integrate youth into a side. Its a recipe for disaster

unidentified player admits that key players did not agree (or submit) to TF's ways
The bit I find incredible is the players' lack of professionalism. It's a damning indictment of them and our club.

I cannot fathom professional footballers turning up late, much less so after an embarrassing defeat to your biggest rivals and after taking a gonading from the manager for that defeat. For players to admit that they trained less intensely for Frank than Ange because they knew they'd get away with it is mind boggling. It's not a great look for Frank but it says much about our players that they don't have that fundamental professionalism especially as that's exactly what's needed in a relegation fight. We don't scrap for our lives in the next 11 games and we will go down - this video suggests we don't have the mentality for it.

It's also damning on our club. This has run through us for decades. You listen to some of the stories about Gazza under Venables. They're funny but have no place in a professional club and I've heard players who were there at the time say similar. You listen to Paul Walsh and he thought we were a very poorly run club. Les Ferdinand, a Tottenham fan, was shocked at what he walked into. The 90s were a joke. You listen to Teddy and Anderton talking about how they were treated by the medical staff. You listen to Conte and Ange. It goes on and on. Tottenham seems to be where you go for an easy ride in the big city. It's not where you go to be professional and win things. The ethos and culture running through the club is disgusting.

I've always tried to give the players the benefit of the doubt and assumed they were good pros. The noises suggest they aren't and they are the only ones who can dig us out of this mess.

Igor, my friend, you've a hell of a job on your hands.

Well folks, suspend your disgust for the next 11 games because it is this group which stands between the drop and not!
100% Steff. Regardless of what I feel about the ownership and some of our players, that can wait until the end of the season. For the games I get to, I'll be absolutely behind the team and, based on Sunday, I think the crowd will to. We can only do so much though, these players really have to pull the finger out.

Hopefully Tudor can right some of those bad habits he repeatedly mentioned on Sunday.
