Igor the Interim

Has he been interviewed yet, would love to hear his take on the ref/VAR, really hope he fronts up and calls it out, could be a statement.

That is an extremely boring and uninteresting interview. I massively struggled to stay interested. I hope he has more pep in his delivery when talking to the team.

Regarding today's display, I was very disappointed how we sat off and let Arse do whatever they wanted. We had no press and just sat back and waited. The only good thing was that video on Twitter of Tudor urging VdV to push up (even though VdV ignored him).

That was because Pahlinha didn't have the legs for the higher line. It was smart by vdV to spot and adapt to that.

Hmm, you love a conspiracy theory, but let's pretend you are right; VdV could have discussed this with Tudor before the game, rather than pretending not to hear / ignoring the instruction / looking confused.

Anyway, if Palhinha doesn't have a sprint, he should not be in that position, put someone else there that can sprint e.g. Gray or #Dragusdown and play him in midfield. If you wanna be crazy, try Souza on the left and Spence on the right. Nuts, I know.

He has a few things to address
The players aren’t fit enough. They talked about that on the radio on the way home and they referenced something Igor had said (I haven’t read that anywhere else though)
Gonna be hard changing the confidence and actually convincing the players they are better than this, the all look like they ah e been told for 6 months every team we play is better than us

If he is wedded to 3 at the back play a left footed left side. criminally bad how blunt we looked wide when neither “wing back” could do the wing bit

If you have kids who you trust to put them on the bench you have to also trust them to come on…
