I was a grown man, 44 or something, before I watched Deer Hunter for the first time. GHod knows why I waited so long, I've seen almost all 70s and 80s classics.
In a way, though, I'm glad I waited, because I very rarely get blown away by movies anymore - but Deer Hunter gave me that experience. An amazing film. The casting is just ridiculous. Should probably rewatch.

Something completely different: I watched the Blues Brothers (again) a couple of nights ago. Never gets old for me. I could act in it - know every line!
