*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham FC ***

Kulu and Madders are barely going to play this season mate. Let’s stop making excuses for this terrible manager and do something positive and get somebody else in who can take the handbrake off and stop these terrible, negative performances.

If Tel and Odobert aren’t good enough then the manager shouldn’t have authorised the sale of Johnson. I think unfortunately Frank is out of his depth at a big club…. Though if we carry on with him in charge we can become a small club in no time.

...if they did, I have little doubt that Madders would be left looking for available people to pass to, and Deki would have to further develop his arse and use his schnooter to help knock down the high balls that would be wazzed at him.

BTW, I find the way we start from kick-offs embarrassing.

Straw man alert! We were talking about if we could get Alonso. I mentioned whoever comes in has an underpowered attack. At least Solanke is almost back.

Its like watching a pub side. And Romeros walking football out from the back slows us right down .
We take an age to get the ball foreward, and when we get a cross into the 6 yard box theres never any of our players even bothered to run in there.
Our only plan seems to be keep giving it to Porro to cross it.
Romero was our best player today by a mile. He was the only player to make more than one successful passthrough the lines to the centre of the pitch. He was also aggressive in the tackle and scored our goal.

You left me little conclusion to arrive at with your response to what was a pretty hard to dispute fact. West Ham were superior in the first-half. And should've been 3 goals up.
Or was the point of your reply to drag this into an argument?

What are you on about. Infer all you want onto others mate. Enjoy.

Don't see the point in sacking him.

Someone else comes in, maybe gets a reaction, then a couple injuries couple sales and it's back here again

This continual stock pilling of average back ups and replacements will just continue, Biss coming on highlighted how far the levels have fallen. He can control the ball, dribble and pass to feet. He was the midfielder that was seen as the weak link before

The point is we could get a bounce that gets us 6-12 points that could keep us up.

10pts ahead of the drop and our run in is not great. Thats 3 more losses......which we will get before the season ends.
Hold on tight people

Back to the keeper and hoof it!…. Despite having nobody up front that can win it in the air.

OK…. to answer that question, ‘yes, we could’. However it would take a very large wage offer and the promise of significant funds for transfers and wages.

If we did somehow get him in I bet things would improve massively from what we’re seeing under th clown managing us at present.

It tells you something when Tel is looking the best of our attackers. I honestly dont know what anyone on this forum is seeing to think that any of Tel, Muani, Odebert and Simons are any where near PL level. They all look like they would struggle in the Championship to me. It doesn't matter who coaches us until we change our recruitment policy and stop buying players too weak to flourish in leagues that are in my opinion weaker than the premier league.
Thomas Frank is a dead man walking but I fail to see who could come in and change things around with this squad and the injuries we have at the moment
Came on to say the same.

Maybe the new manager will get a chance to have Kulu, Madders, Solanke and Kudus on the pitch at the same time.

Even Pep would struggle with this lot.

Serious worries about your ability to read.
‘His position is now untenable’. Is very different to saying ‘I think he should be sacked’.

You’re basically saying you think he will be sacked but you don’t want him to be because (for some strange reason?) you think he is a good manager.

He was the wrong man. Saying that who was the correct man.

Clubs got lots of problems. A new man might get a bounce but this squad needs some surgery.

We have some pony in it. To many passengers. Bergvail , Gray , Tel , Odebert all young may or may not come good. I’ve not seen anything to suggest they’ll be anything but middling prem players at best.

Up until his injury starting Richy for me is a massive hint at where we are. Bang average player we over payed for.
We over rate our players. No stars in this side not one. Just a load of ok players. Been saying this on here for a few years.

The buck does not stop at just Frank. It’s years of poor leadership at the club.

Does Alonso have gambling debts or something? What makes you think money is everything to him?

And even if someone is money driven the negative effect on their brand could be counterproductive. If you think we're an easy to manage side now without a senior attack, you're more naive than I thought!

This is where I’m at.

To be fair this is spot on. We have accepted mediocrity at this club

No it isn't. He can't continue is what it says. Tantamount to he has to be sacked. Honestly worried about your comprehension today!

You’re basically saying you think he will be sacked but you don’t want him to be because (for some strange reason?) you think he is a good manager.

I can see you are desperately desperately trying to create a straw man to have an arguement with much like our pal Sefff :tearsofjoy: If it makes you feel good...
