The mind boggles. Booing the team as a collective after a poor performance is one thing. Booing an individual player, especially the goalkeeper who is the most isolated player on the pitch is just counter productive - what benefit do any of these clowns think they are getting from it...,
I don’t think they’re worrying about any benefits. They’re just frustrated and can’t think of any other way to express it. I’ve always said there are some fans that football is their life and have nothing else so when the football goes pear shaped they can’t deal with it.
