*** CL MD4 OMT Tottenham Hotspur v FC Copenhagen ***

Whilst it would be foolish to believe that this means we have definitely turned a corner at home it was the game and performance that we needed given everything that's happened at the club lately.

Xavi showing signs of confidence, some very good play going forward and Micky getting a wonder goal after all the negativity surrounding him at the weekend.

Win on Saturday and things will seem somewhat OK again.

Yes would be really nice to go into the next break on the back of 2 wins, ready for two massive games in a couple of weeks time

And therein lies the actual problem.

Context of the opponent considered, but when you see that it does make you wonder why Dane doesn’t at least get some more sub minutes.
Was a really encouraging cameo wasn’t it? Looked full of confidence and physicality. Does make you wonder why the loans haven’t worked out yet either.

Genuinely we could have had 8. Really really encouraging. It felt like the players were liberated. Hope we can continue this momentum against the better players we’ll be facing in the coming weeks. My hope was that Chelsea ends up being a performance that brings clarity to the players about what Frank actually was, and hopefully tonight is liftoff.

Kolo Muani has a great touch and he’ll get goals for us.

Great game from Xavi. Shame he had to come off.

Shout out to Frank. Loved the back 3 in possession, and seeing two different versions of it. One with Porro inverting, one with Bentancur dropping in. This sort of flexibility is what we were promised and clearly helps.
