Logic could be (not saying it is) -> Spence, VDV, Davies could all cover LB, Gray can cover RB if Spence being used for LB

Realistically we now have Porro, Spence, Romero (yes, likely out), Danso, Dragusin, VDV, Davies, Vuskovich, Kota, Udogie for back line (and that's not even counting Phillips), Frank can also use 3 CB's in a bit of a wonky. Not sure if any of Vuskovich/Kota can cover a side as well?
Not convinced by not signing another full back. Spence being good either side helps a lot, but we need VdV in the centre and his muscle injuries do not match well with being a full back. Davies getting on a bit.

Unless Gray is the full back option Frank wants we imo need another option. There will be so many games.

Don't disagree, to me priorities are RW, CM, FB (either side is fine due to Spence's adaptability) +replacing any first 11 that go out (Romero, Richi mostly)

Was just giving a possible logic

Chelsea still interested in Kudus despite other deals

Latest from Kaveh Solekhol & Zinny Boswell:
Chelsea are still interested in Mohammed Kudus despite having agreed deals for Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens.
They are monitoring Kudus' situation closely with Tottenham and Saudi Sportswashing Machine also keen.

So what the fudge do they do with all these players? at end of season they had 23 foreign players (squad of 31 senior) and they keep buying?

Is it that they pay so much people are happy not to be in all comps?

They'll have a completely separate EPL squad and CL squad.

It's the way things are going in response to Saudi propaganda tournaments, the new European competition formats and international friendlies.

I get, but how do you do that without tinkling off everyone? just overpay so people are happy to not play games?

Would love Kudus.
He can do what none of our current squad can, with maybe Solomon the exception.
He can turn defenders and go past them at pace. He can also finish.
Would be a starter from the off.
No one is paying 80 mill for him though.

I know player exchanges don't happen so often, but you do wonder whether Potter would be interested in a few of our guys. It's a shame Dragusin is injured as he'd fit the profile. Others might be Bissouma, Sarr, Richi, Solomon. From the younger group, perhaps Potter would be after Keeley, Phillips, Devine, Donley, Lankshear.

I reckon Hammers could really make us work for this signing and improve themselves if they put their minds to it.

Yes they would squeeze the last penny out of us. I think every player you mentioned can go for the right price.
Maybe Donley is a keep to see how he develops, even if he gets loaned to a championship side.

Kudus is a talent for sure. He was great in his first season at West Ham. Last season he looked like he didn't want to be there, which maybe doesn't speak well of his attitude. If Frank could get him firing though he would walk into our team on the right or left.
Can't see him being less than 60m though, which could scupper it for us.

Was he? His stats aren't much different season just gone to his first one. In the PL he got 8 goals and 6 assists in 33 matches in his first seasson which isn't all that. Last season he got 5 goals and 3 assists in 32 matches. So he's averaging one goal every 5 games and an assist every 7 games in the league which is pretty poor.

He's just a youtube highlights player who looks all exciting at times without the end product, and it does make me laugh every time we are linked with a player regardless of who our manager is there's this notion that our manager will make said player go up a load of levels :D ....

Consistency - he rarely puts in top level performances and when not on it he's a passenger
Thanks. Seems to be an opinion of some West Ham fans too.

If we do go for him I hope the club will have a very clear idea of why he's been inconsistent and how that will be different here.
