I'm not that familiar with their line up, but if they have more than four players out, including their captain and vice captain, then well done them, it's been a decent second half from them.

Everyone has done a full U turn in football fan fashion and have forgotten all the crap we have had to put up with all season. It’s ok though, once the Europa league win has died down they will all be moaning and blaming Levy again next season due to how bad its going to be if Ange stays.

Which is why I’ve always argued, in general, being good on a week to week basis will give a supporter more net joy than winning a trophy (while doing poorly in the league).

Having said that, the cup is in our record books and in the trophy cabinet, which is ace. We will remember it fondly and look at videos from the night for years to come. We’ve gotten the monkey off our back, which excellent.

But watching us perform like we do today will never generate a lot of joy, for obvious reasons. We’re tinkle poor.
