***OMT EPL TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Manchester United***

With so many out, not a terrible result. Shame our attack ran out of steam and/or belief. We regularly got past their midfield and lacked a bit of conviction to go and score. The Bentancur goal the exception. We lack a few players who can grb the game by thte scruff of the neck in the final third and impose themseleves.

Two annoying goals conceeded, shame we couldn't keep it to one. Time to hit the training pitch and come back stronger in defense and with greater conviction in attack.

Only really saw the 2nd half and I felt we looked quite poor in attack. Seemed to lack cutting edge and quite poor in midfield in terms of really creating anything with serious threat.

Feel quite disappointed but not shocked considering we had no Maddison, Sarr, Son and Kulu. The guys that have been creating our goals this season.

Im disillusioned by Johnson. He just doesn’t do enough. He has pace but then what? Think he should have been subbed off.

Overall good performance but missing Kulusevski and Maddison removed our spark. I’m happy with the result and think arguably we should have won the match. But we move, week off and hopefully Maddison and Kulusevski back for the next one.

I still want to believe that we can make a title challenge but dropping points here whilst City won this weekend isn’t going to help.

Great to have Bentancur back regularly and nice goal.

Bring on the time off to get people back fit.. That was a stong performance and the only thing missing was the 3 points.

To go there and play like the home team is not something I can remember us doing, if so it's been a long while.

Happy enough, just need more from our wide attackers, particularly Johnson.. IMO

You can see bale like traits in him after bale first joined, scared to take a hit and taking the easy option too often.

Wingers need to know they will get fouled, a lot

Bentancur is coming back from almost a year out of the game? You're such a saddo at times man..
Just said his touch and passing looked off at times. It’s hardly saying he’s rubbish or condemning him. He’s a world class midfielder in my view. Not sure expressing an opinion on the game makes me a saddo but whatever floats your boat.

I know Man Utd are not great at the moment but to dominate the game with 5 or 6 of our best missing is no mean feat.

It shows Ange system works with inferior personnel. We just need them back and we will be cooking!

I kind of feel even just one of Son or Kulu or Maddison would have been enough for us to win that.

Let alone adding Sarr (or Bissouma) into the mix.

Totally. No Son, Kulusevski, Maddison, Sarr, Bissouma, even Lo Celso as well. Werner, Romero, VDV still rusty.

We come away from OT with a point missing 10 players (not counting Perisic), once they finally all return we will have a decent squad with great options on the bench.

Two week break, hopefully Maddison and Kulusevski will be available. Solomon should be back soon, not sure how long GLC is out or Sessegnon. And two weeks for Johnson to put some weight on so he can stand up to a challenge

TBF I think Neville has been pretty positive about us all season, he's admitted himself that he loves watching us play.
Yeah but he's also crapped on Udogie and Porro and labelled us naive without understanding the system properly.. He just goes with the popular flow most of the time

Decent enough result considering the players out, definitely lacked creativity. Should have some players back after the break as well, 2.5 weeks until the next league game.

After hearing about the lengthy number of absent players, comes this from the thin, bitter lips of Tiny Tim Sherwood - "(United) played a reserve side there. They missed a trick, Man United. If you can't beat this Tottenham team, how on earth are you going to improve to get to the top four."

But after that, no credit whatsoever about the Spurs players out there. Just bemoaning ManU's situation. He's always negative about Spurs. No chance about hearing anything Spurs-positive from his co-pundit, Peter Schmeichel. Just one team out there.

He only got 10 mins and it’s impossible to judge much but thought Dragusin did what he had to do well. Werner delivered the sort of performance I expect from him and that defined his spell at Chelsea but, to be fair, he needs time and a run of games before making any definitive judgement on him.
