***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project***

Btw how foolish were City paying £100m for Grealish and not coughing up a few more 10s of millions for Kane? Haaland is a great striker and will get the golden boot if he avoids injury because City create so much, but he misses a fair few. Two easy tap ins today. Kane on the other hand, one of the few players who outperforms his expected goals.
To be fair so does Haaland normally, just not this season so far for some reason:

Roy Keane, the most miserable human being on planet earth judging from his pundit cameos. Always always looking for something negative to drone on about.
It is a bit of an act. He's actually a sound bloke quite unlike his tv persona away from the punditry. My brother in law's brother sort of knows him.

In fairness, it’s hard to tell if he blew looking at it again, but he does bring the whistle to the lips and raise his arm to give the foul as soon as Haaland goes down.

He then does a half-hearted play on gesture, then brings it back for the free kick - only, I presume, because he’s (confusingly, granted) indicated for the free kick already.

Hilarious. They are triple champions. If there is match fixing about then it is City who are partaking of it.

When I re watched it
I think he blew for the foul
Let them take the quick free kick and Called it back because the ball was moving
The play on signal is also used to play a quick free kick

At least that’s the story I’d go for if I was the ref

It was an error

Can we march Haaland out and have an explanation as to why he missed an open goal?
It is different - the officials are there to officiate the game, not play it.
What needs explaining is why he waved advantage and then blew for the foul.
My initial reaction that he blew the first time and just "mis blew" so it didn't make a sound and that he was pointing for the direction of the free kick, not for "play on".

There is clearly confusion around that, so explaining the situation is just good game management and governance. Transparency in leadership is a good thing!

So the only people on the pitch we are expecting perfection from are the refs
And linesmen, whilst the players cheat and con at every chance.

That's impossible.

I'm convinced after seeing the video above he gave the free kick.

Still buzzing! One thing is for sure, we're not a boring watch! However, playing out from the back is all good and well, but imo there are times to do it, and certainly times when you shouldn't do it, and we do it anyway far too many times for my liking. Sometimes the long ball is the best option, especially against a team like City, who often (over)commit players forward.
And that is entirely what this season is about imho - learning. And that includes Ange. The PL doesn't compare to any other league in the world, so he's learning too.
He's whipped the media into a beautiful frenzy about he "only plays one way", which isn't true - he tweaks the margins. I was impressed with how he had the defence set up tactically and also the change he made at half time.
Concerned by the Skipp/GLC one. Although GLC looks to be limping after the game, so maybe it wasn't completely choice. But it did give Emirates Marketing Project more attacking opportunities.

Where have I said perfection? Don't be ridiculous.
I've very clearly said it would be good governance to clear up a position that has caused confusion by using transparency. That's good just management of a situation.

Re; the video. It has no audio. Sky (and live) replayed the audio, and you can only hear the whistle the SECOND time it goes to his lips. Maybe the audio didn't pick it up. Emirates Marketing Project players reaction suggests the opposite.
Maybe he mis blew.
Maybe he just made a mistake.

The maybe's can easily be cleared up.

The more I see it the more I think he did blow up
Then let them take a quick free kick which Haaland fudged up by playing a moving ball
