Rodrigo Bentancur

I did not know he had an ACL injury.

That really sucks.

Oh, it does. I totally snapped the ACL in my right knee some years back. Couldn't be re-connected. Dreadful injury. Painful to recover from and painful once trying to regain normal usage playing football. Or walking downhill. Or even golf with sidehill lies with the ball below your feet. Just hoping his youth and natural athleticism will speed his recovery.

Think there will need to be patience with him.
once he gets fit it may take a while to get back to his best. Some take 6-12 months playing to get back up to speed.

There are players that never get back to the way they were playing before the injury. Brutal injury.

Played with a lad who snapped the same one twice. 18 months apart. How’s your luck.

I disagree a bit. With the level or surgery and rehab he's had, he'll be fine. It's a bit different to those of us (me included) who have had a basic NHS job with about 4 follow-up physio appointments. It's the extensive physio in particular that will ensure he returns to 100%, and very quickly. I could see him back bossing CM again by early Sept.

Not according to internet, Ange prefer Lo Celso, really shows the amount of knowledge these fools have about this club and football in general.

But tempered by the level of physical activity and stress players put their knees under. Its still a terrible injury for any footballer to get

But I thought Ange is giving everyone a fair chance hence we're not selling any one...:)

Where did you see people saying Ange prefers Lo Celso to Bentancur? That seems like a massive leap considering Bentancur is currently injured and GLC is being given a chance to prove his worth.

I didnt see it my son did and told me. I think it goes to show the crap that gets put out there, how can anyone think or know what our manager thinks about a player who has not kicked a ball for months.

Maybe so on surgery etc but bossing it by September is a massive stretch. Not even Bentancur knows how his knee is going to react to that first tackle or tight turn.

Let alone how physiologically how he may react. Brain is a funny thing. I just think we need to give him plenty of time and don’t expect to much.

Lots of West Ham fans will tell you Lanzini was never the same after his ACL injury. It happens sometimes.

My son told me it was on Spursweb quoting a Spanish newspaper.
