I think the rumour is that Barca have offered a number of players to Chelsea, inc PEA, de Jong and Depay.

Sounds a bit odd to me.

Wouldn't touch Aubameyang. He won't want to leave barca. If he's pushed can see him downing tools at the new club and not giving a crap.
 
There has been some weird transfers so far this season.

Seems Chelsea are after Fofana, Leicester could be well and truly in the brick after this transfer window.

He signed a new contract in May, they apparently want £85m for him and they've already turned down £60m. Don't think they're gonna go that high.

Chelsea seem to feel the need to throw money in areas they don’t need
They are letting Sarr leave who is decent
They have lost lukaku
And they look like losing Werner
No sign of a striker joining though and only loosely linked with Aubemeyang

How many from Chelsea's loan army actually made it to their first team? The ones that could've seem to be the ones that they let go like Fikayo Tomori (big mistake, this one).
 
So we spend 25m on Bissouma and they spend 62m on Cucu... and I'm just comparing them because they're both ex-Brighton. To compare the signings of Cucu and Perisic makes it even funnier.
 
Even City think over £40m is too much and they throw money round like its going out of fashion.
