Kit Thread

Tried on XL and XXL home yesterday, and XL away, at local Sports Direct. I'm carrying too much around the midriff, but normally would expect to be ok in an XL. Anyway, it would have been ok, a bit snugg but the material is pretty comfy. I would say it fits as well as some of the retro 80s/90s shirts you can buy.

XXL was fine, a tad baggy but what I would go for. However, I want the long sleeved one and I'm a bit wary that the sleeves themselves may be a bit baggy. Will report back after going to a club shop this week. Might well get the shirt for this season then eBay it at the end.... Have done that before and managed to get a few quid back.

XL away was pretty tight but I could see how you would like it if you had a reasonably trip body :) thought the feature on the shoulders looked ridiculous though, like shoulder pads.

What did my head in though was that the numpty who put the security tags on did it right over the club badge. Not only did this make it harder to get a feel for, it also means that whoever buys it will have a hole over the badge. Idiot gooner I guess.

Oh, and went to see the new Batman film last night.... great to see that we share the same kit manufacturer as Gotham's American Football team!

Bought both home & away shirts from Sports Direct yesterday whilst visiting Plymouth. 40 notes each down from 45.
I love them! Materials nice, dont feel or look cheap at all. Great effort from UA!

Will need to see 3rd kit in the flesh before i consider whether to get it or not tho

Emirates Marketing Project's kits are boring, typical Umbro really, nothing special about them at all.

Hate to say it, but Chelsea's last few home shirts under Adidas have all been nice.

IMO the home shirt is poor in the flesh. The neck is too big and the collar is cheap looking. The one the players wear looks much better. Gutted coz I wanted the home shirt this year but once again i went with the away

US kit makers know their stuff
watching Liverpool game earlier, I must say both they and us have great home kits this season.
