As easy a game as it was, and it really was coz they were awful, Bentancur was sensational. Always looking for it, always looking to do something with it. He was outstanding for me. Best player on the pitch.

Having Kulu to playoff really helps. Kulu's quick feet and technical ability - weight of passes - helps the players around him. On the left Reggie and Sessegnon need a bit more quality around them.

Davis had a perfect touch in the build-up to the first goal. It was crucial to the move. But he's not always the best technically, and Son is more like a striker who tucks in. Kulu plays more on/off the wing.

I agree. But I criticise him too much already. He was key to the first goal, and he's been a great servant. Always gives his all. Would we be a better side with a £30-50m left-footed CB? Sure. But that is not Davies fault. He's an excellent squad player who can contribute a lot.
