January Transfer Thread - it couldn't open and close any quicker

Lingard always seemed to be a poor man's Dele Alli

If it was Van de Beek, I could maybe see some sense, as he actually looked promising once.

GHod, I remember the arguments and the hate for Lingard on here when it was suggested he might be better the Alli. Alli was so far ahead of him at the time! How things have changed in just a few years. Both Dele and Lingard have now pretty much disappeared from both England and their clubs.

Excellent video that and something that lots of us have been stating for a while.... Brozovic would completely transform us as I've said many times. Guimaraes would be a brilliant signing but I think he'll go to one of the CL regulars.

Must say that I haven't seen anything of Medina but it sounds like he might have the right sort of attributes and I like pairing players from the same nation in a defence (taking Corona on a free transfer for RWB could give us Spanish speakers right across the back line).

Who is this Corona that you mention?

I know I shouldn’t get het up based on newspaper conjecture but Lingard and Traoré would be a pair of signings that Redknapp would have asked for, not an experienced DoF.
I’m not even sure where the former would play positionally in our set up that can’t find a place for Dele, let alone why he’d be available now, why we’d wait for the summer for him and why he wouldn’t go to West Ham where he’s be starting from a trusted base.

Burnley fans are rejoicing. They can't believe the money they're getting for someone who's been crap all season, has turned 30 and only has 18 months left on his contract.

Conte's press conference isn't exactly encouraging in terms of incoming transfers. He pretty much says it straight out that we're not going to bring in anyone, and he has to focus on getting the most out of what we already got.
