***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Vitesse***

Conte: "My teams must attack and score goals, while playing attractive football with passion."

Also Conte: Selects 7 defensive players.

[Just a joke! ;) ]

3-4-3 Chelsea style

Not really surprised by the midfield. We don't have a true box to box midfielder in the squad at the moment. Will be trial and error for a few games to find the combo.

I also don't see him playing Son and Kane as a pair, rather Son and another behind Kane.

Surely got be Davies on the Left of a back 3, Romero CB and Dier on the right of the 3.

Want to see Reggie and Royal whipping in crosses with purpose

Surprised to see Davies preferred over other centre backs even if he is left footed. Doesn’t Rodon play the left cb of a 3 for Wales?

Yeah, a back 5 and 2 DM’s, the crowd will be booing from the off…

Good job fan favourite Moura is starting.

I'd imagine that Royal and Reggie will be closer to Skipp/PEH in terms of how far up the pitch they are, than they are to the CBs

Bit surprised at the CM selection though. Expected one of Ndombele or GLC

The thing is that Reg ang Royal aint going to be playing so deep and are more atacking than defending

Reg and Royal should ( hopefully) be playing like wingers. Staying upfield and wide and gubpving us the width we have long been missing. Fingers crossed for a confidence building early goal and we can take it on from there. COYS

Pretty sure he has.

Hopefully Conte doesn't always need the left CB to be left-footed, as that would limit Rodons chances. Have seen a few comments before tonight that he likes his defenders to be the correct footedness.

Would also like to see Romero in the middle to stride out of defence, while the others cover.

He has gone back to the Chelsea 343

Worth looking at this video were Steve Holland goes through his 343

He talks using a natural full back on the side of the more attacking wing back which explains Davies.
