If I was Ndombele, I’d be packing my bags or hiring a bodyguard.
Personally I don’t understand the NDombele references with Conte. To me at least he looks like he is working much harder off the ball, and I’m sure someone mentioned that he ran further than anyone else in a recent game? There was also rumours Conte wanted him at Inter….

Conte will maks Ndombele a pivotal part of his team. He is there perfect deep play maker in front of the back 3 he likes.

N'Dombele might be his new pet project like with Lukaku. He spent ages on the training ground apparently with Lukaku, working out how to get the best out of him (No easy feat!)

*He could also bomb him out in 10 secs flat

There's no urgency about the guy. Even on Saturday, he looked very languid even when we were 2 or 3 down. He went backwards a couple of times and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. If you weren't gonna take risks then, you were never going to take risks.

I rate the guy's talent hugely. It's unique and could be a massive asset. I'm very dubious about his application and I'm not sure Conte will tolerate some of what I saw on Saturday.

Will the fans support Conte if he takes on the players?

Depends which players I guess. The weathervane will be the leaders (Lloris, Dier, Son) and the future heart of the team (Tanganga and Skipp). Most others you could probably make a case for a job being done on. But only if they deserve it from a fresh start, no power games bullying like Mourinho did

'A misconception that Conte is a defensive manager'

Is Antonio Conte the man to deliver the attacking football that Tottenham fans demand?

"One of the biggest misconceptions about Antonio Conte is that he plays defensive boring football, that's just not true," Nima Tavallaey as told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"Conte's a guy who is defensively solid and sound but his Juventus and Inter sides played some very attractive football. Inter scored over 100 goals two seasons in a row in all competitions under him.

"He's very organised, he's a system manager, he's wants things his way and when it works it is beautiful. The way that he won the Serie A title last season with Inter, from February to May, was some of most beautiful football that I think I've seen Inter play in my lifetime.

"They mopped the floor with every single team in Serie A by playing a very organised style of play and they scored for fun."

Italian football journalist Nima Tavallaey believes that if Antonio Conte does become the new Tottenham manager, players such as Harry Kane and Deli Alli will benefit.

"The level of concentration and the quality of training will increase, every single player will get that energy jolt thrust into them and either they follow him and that would only do their careers at Spurs well and Spurs well. And if they don't he has no problem whoever it is to completely freeze them out, he doesn't care.

"For someone like Harry Kane or Dele Alli, I think that this could actually be good for them because Conte is - despite popular belief - a very good man manager, he is very good at getting players on board on his project.

"I think Dele Alli is one that could really benefit from this, if he decides to put in the work and commitment that Antonio Conte asks of him."

I honestly think the only players the fans would be protective about, in terms of any coach picking on them, would be Scarlett, Japh, Skippy, Romero, Lucas, and maybe Emerson and/or Gil. At a stretch, probably Lloris.

The rest - doubt the fanbase will care if our next coach, whomever he is, publicly rips up their contracts in the center circle come the weekend. That includes passable performers like Reggy and Hojbjerg - the rot is too deep at this point.
