Charlie kane fudging idiot, why come out with this even if its true, this will fudge up all our transfer dealings as clubs will try to rinse us in the knowledge we will be cash rich and desperate
 
I feel a bit sick reading that, I was absolutely sure we had him for another season.
But £160M would be a huge fee and very difficult to turn down. That's some leap from City.
There's still a bit of me doesn't believe he'll go however. But I accept I'm probably just grasping now.

If it ends this way, I’d agree with that. I didn’t want him acting the prick to get out and he hasn’t. I’ll be very sad to see him go but understand why he wants to go and I hope he wins all that he wants as long as he isn’t denying us to do it.

If it happens, the fudger is nailed on to bag a hat trick first game of the season isn’t he?
 
Whilst I’m far from convinced it’s true as the source is about as reliable as lamela right foot…

It would be the right kind of money to make us want to sell

get them to chuck in Laporte to play with Romero and £120M and we would suddenly look very different defensively

then get in Ings and Vlahovic and we would arguably be better off as a team (subject to players settling)

Kane is the best striker in the land and arguably the best in the world but our over reliance on him hurts us and him.

he will win plenty at city and they were IMO the only club he could move too to guarantee the pots he wants

He is old too
Vlahovic is one I started tracking as a player a couple of years ago… he reminds me of another ex Fiorentina striker who was pretty tidy called Batistuta. My only concern is new league and pressure. But get in Ings too and him and suddenly w shave options and a player who knows the league already
 
Im pretty sure city can’t afford this presently…they have to sell players and they have never spent the more ridiculous transfer fees.

with that out in the media all the pressure goes to city, pay up or shut up…this should now stop interfering with our pre season preparations and let us move on.

he clearly made a big decision over the weekend and I do believe ‘if true’ this is the best way to go about things.

Bet levy has it written into the deal that Kane ‘rolls his ankle’ into the lead up for that game

I agree. It smacks of this. 160 mill would allow us to go and get Ings, Romero and hopefully Damsgaard. Either way it becomes a win.

yeah, been very enthused by our links to young talent and I believe it’s what we need to be doing.

realistically We have to manage our debts, 160 mil wipes out maybe 2/3 of the pandemic costs…maybe

but yeah those boys in would be gravy, alongside either Vlahovic or Isak

Our debts are managed pretty much. The £250m we borrowed means it's nearly all long term. No rush to pay it off.
