Daniel Levy - Chairman

What is he talking about pregnant women are not allowed into the stadium?

Seems a bit of a mad rule.

It's one of the rules for next week's final/crowd-test-event at Wembley. No under-18s, no pregnant women and no clinically vulnerable allowed to attend. Nothing to do with our stadium but Mr-forty-eight-and-three-quarters hasn't quite grasped the difference.

Right did not know about that. Strange world we live in when people rant about such things, i appreciate this is a social media type website thingy but i do wish i could opt out of ever seeing videos. I always click to watch them as if in my mind if someone has done a video they must have something important to say and it is always just some random weirdo chatting brick.

Really disappointed Levy did not act a month or two ago. I think even a caretaker manager could have done more with this lot than Jose.

I think back to last season I walked out of the ground after the Norwich FA cup game and knew he was not the man for us. I never thought he would be but wanted to give him a chance.

In my eyes Covid saved his job as if we had continued we’d of not got into Europe as Kane and Son were carrying us.

Yes, I think Levy had a decision to make in late Feb. The issue at that time was just that, as well as increased cost of sacking Mourinho, an immediate replacement wasn't obvious - permanent replacements would be hard to get and even a temp wasn't clear

So he decided to leave it to the end of the season, and also had the chance to see whether we could still get top 4

As it happens, performances have continued to, at best, flat-line and morale of fans and image of the club has deteriorated further. Assuming we finish say 8th, I cant see how Levy doesnt act

I think even if we finish 5th he needs to act.

Jose is done as a top level manager in this country . Think he’d be best going back to Italy with the style of footie that he plays.

I dont disagree. I can't see us finishing 5th or 6th though.

West Ham, Liverpool and Chelsea will all finish above us, which maks it 7th at best
Question is then whether we finish above the likes of Everton, Arsenal, Villa, even perhaps Leeds

How embarrassing to finish below West Ham. Not knocking them as they have been decent.

Speaks volumes about us as our squad is far superior.

Is it? Sounds like self entitled talk. Kane, son, Ndombele, Ruguilon, PEH .... bar these 5 players I think the rest are bang average.

Yes I think so personally. Rice is their only top class player. The rest are just coached. You know what maybe I’m being harsh on them. Soucek is decent.

We have had a shocker and only a few points behind them and they are having a season of their dreams. So that’s why I think it’s an embarrassment to finish below them.

Their right back is better than ours
Their CBS are better
Their CM this season has been better

Their CBs are settled we have chopped and changed . RB maybe.

As for CM I’d take Rice over PEH all day long. Soucek is decent but Ndombele is a better player when he pulls his finger out.

There was a point where I thought he could have pulled the trigger in Feb too, post the West Ham defeat but as we’d played Liverpool Chelsea and City recently we had a decent run of fixtures. That run against Burnley, Fulham and Palace where we started Bale kept us in touch with 4th sandwiches between Europa progression and a 2-0 first leg win gave cause for optimism in the run in. Before them the signs were there but the cup runs, mostly against minnows papered over the cracks.

Since then we’ve collapsed against Goons, choked the Europa and blown leads in games we needed to win to stay in touch with 4th. You’d have to to back to November for the last time we won a game we weren’t favourites for and it’s not like we comfortably despatched the teams with inferior resources that we expect to beat. I can only think Levy is now hoping for a everyone to rouse themselves for a shock upset in the final and there is a financial benefit to letting him see out the season.
