Tottenham vs Manchester United OMT

Maybe it’s me but I don’t see them pressing at all
I mean we have had most of the ball so far and had it quite comfortable
When we have the ball in our half notice they press us, not intently not super aggressively but enough that we don't have comfortable possession at the back. The reverse doesn't appear to be the case although GLC has made a couple of beat interceptions.

I do think he has potential to be a key player, as long as the expectation is on him being in the engine room rather than a final third contributor.
Agreement, that's why I hate it when he's been stuck out on the right. He's far, far, far from a RWF. He's a midfield worker who can dribble and can pass.

Yeah I get what your saying but their sitting off with the press
And their keeping their midfield deep on Kane

Reminds me of plenty of games we've played recently only to fall apart, then the manager catches all the flack.

It's worth nothing that we have been playing in games with some sort of intent and forward thinking (for when we concede in the 85th minute and all start saying how the manager is a dinosaur etc)

If we could actually hit players with a pass we'd have been in some good positions already.
It does feel like a decent start but we will concede their first decent attack and go to pieces. Hope I’m wrong but scoring first would be a big help!
