OMT Tottenham vs Fulham

Dele was excellent for the first half, a massive effort, loads of pressing and interceptions, then got tired as expected

As usual Mou Mou should have changed something rather than watch us get bummed and buggered and shafted and hammered and eventually concede.
We didn't though did we, we won 1-0, you sound almost gutted we did win

What change were you expecting other than what he did?

Whenever I see Scott Parker interviewed he seems to be holding tears while delivering a eulogy

The people who were hopeful after watching the positive signs from the second half against West Ham, are now annoyed that different people are overeacting and drawing conclusions from the second half against Fulham.

We will struggle to achieve top four with performances like today.
There have been plenty worse! It wasn’t negative football imo. We still have our first choice full backs to come back into this team, I still can’t put my finger on why the personnel on show didn’t keep the ball better and history tells us that Kane won’t miss chances as good as he has today in every game. We’ve also played better and not got a result, so I’m chalking it up as another step in the right direction rather than the continued decline we were looking at after the chelsea and brighton games.

What a tired performance in a game we won... away against a team in solid form
Nah
That’s exactly what we needed to do
Unless of course the idea that team passing the ball around but creating so little with it is meant to be a good thing?
They had 3 (three) shots on target. One at the end of the first half and the two headers early second.
the best chances were ours with Kane that he should have buried

School debating society getting out of hand?

Only lasted 1 year, our headmaster was a blue at Oxford and thought he could reach out to us yobs, a sad social experiment doomed to failure a long with chess club and drama group, but he stuck to the time honoured tradition of corporal punishment.

I said poor finishing, as in they were in our ginal third but they could not find that final pass. Despite the fact our defence were panicking and leaving gaps.

That’s not poor finishing, that’s poor creativity
They huffed and puffed a lot and had some great football wide but they created so little
When they did get through we dealt with it pretty easily
I know now one what’s to give the team credit after a 1 nil away win against a team getting relegated but actually it was a decent performance IMO[/QUOTE]
