Dele Alli

I thought you said there was a problem with the manager selecting Ben Davies.
That was me. I have a big problem with him being selected as a third centre back or a wing back/wide midfield player. As a bog standard left back, he is alright. Can play if Regulion is out (though now Gazaniga has gone I don’t see why we can’t put Rose back in the squad).

now that dele's sticking around it will be interesting to see if JM can coach him back.
i think he can play the bergjin role but not sure if he wants to

Get Ndombele alongside Hojbjerg, get the team 20 yards higher up the pitch and have Dele playing behind Kane with Son and Bergwijn as the wide forwards. Front foot instead of back football and we’ll start winning games again.

This should have been the perfect game for him to play in, team focusing on attacking and where was he? Very poor.

didn't have anything fall his way but didn't help himself with some of his decision making

I thought the booking he received was ridiculous

As Jenas says, he’s been given enough chances now to show he can step up - problem is, he never does. He’s been poor for two years now. He may have just bottomed out as a player. It happens.

Let’s maybe write his obituary after he’s been given a consistent run of minutes to make a judgment.

Yeah. Given how much he’s played this season you wouldn’t expect him to look like a player who has hardly played this season. Jesus, we really do expect these humans to perform lime finely tuned machines. Me included at times. Not this time tho.

maybe let the fudger earn some minutes, because a whole bunch of players ran their asses off to give him 30 odd minutes against a tired Everton to show something, and he showed same old, same old.

He wasn't great, but first game in ages. At least managed to link up with Siss on the right a few times. Pretty low bar, but Winksy would've smacked into it.

Rightly booked for the dive, although the ref wasn't bothering when Richarlison did it.

As I said, two years now - under two managers. There’s been nothing of worth to see.

He was our third highest goslscorer last season despite missing a third of the games and playing out of position when Kane was out so i don't believe it's quite true to say nothing of note for 2 years - we could certainly be doing with someone chipping in with those numbers this season.

That said he was poor today, certainly no argument there - but no one can talk gonad*s about being given enough time this season if they look at the actual minutes he has been given on the pitch and be expected to be taken seriously.
