We dropped points today because we sat back at the first sign of pressure and couldn't break out of it. Mourinho was too passive and didn't change things until it was too late.

Son missed two sitters, although one goal should always be enough.

If Sanchez or Dier defend properly that goal doesn’t happen.

from the moment Son hit the post it was nailed on they would make us pay, just like the Bale miss v West Ham, the numerous chances spurned to wrap it up v Saudi Sportswashing Machine, the misses it at Anfield.

It's a joke, that's what 12-15 points dropped now in identical circumstances. The players have to step up, many of the points dropped have been against poor teams.

I thought our midfield was strong but actually it's merely competent, we're unable to hold onto the ball or create much. We do sit back but there's no supply or support from midfield in the box.

It’s Premier League football. Other teams are entitled to a good move or a good piece of play to score a goal. The way to protect against that is to score more than 1.

But we weren’t out of sight at half time; and yet we persisted with the same defensive tactics in the second half that have seen us drop points time after time after time this season.

I’m just baffled. I look at this manager and squad of players and think, on paper, we should be right up there. And we should be beating teams like Fulham, Wolves and Palace relatively easily most of the time.

But what I’m watching is brick. Most weeks. Those teams are dominating the ball against us. The manager is renowned as a tactician. His tactics are brick. And he can’t blame the players or say they aren’t carrying out his instructions because it’s the same thing every bloody week. And we keep doing the same thing. Lead, sit back, give up the ball, concede.

He’s also known for being able to change games and to make subs to do it. Yet we’re not seeing that. When the tide turns against us, he sits on his hands and only makes changes when the other team equalises.

My patience is wearing thin. I don’t enjoy watching us play, I don’t enjoy the same mistakes again and I can’t fathom how a winner like Mourinho keeps making these mistakes.

That result tonight is absolutely unacceptable. The second half performance is unacceptable. If it was a one off, I’d give him some lee way. It isn’t.

On the game, Reguilon, Dier and Ndombele were our best. Sanchez again proved he’s an absolute liability but it’s not all on him.

Well said sir. My feelings exactly. With talent like Dele and Bale on the bench why did he persist with a clearly faiking game plan in rhe second half. We are so utterly predictable. Take the lead, give up possession, concede late. Rinse and repeat. Do something different you dingbat.

Even with some shortcomings in our squad, it's still full of good footballers. Why don't we try to play then until it's too late? This isn't a one off, it's a trend. I can understand taking a careful approach against Liverpool and Real Madrid. Fulham not so much.

Worst of all, we're so BORING and don't even look like we want to win games. We have been a lot of things over the years, but very rarely boring.

When we last played like this it was under Mourinho's assistant. And we had Bale. Odd that Mourinho is not using him. Seemed an ideal sub for us second half for Sissoko.

There has been absolutely no progression in our attacking play in the 12 months + that he has been here and the defensive improvements come from putting all our players behind the ball.
