American politics

If the only effect is one of racial disparity, yes.

Most policies will have a good reason behind them that isn't racial in nature though. Such as zoning laws that don't allow multi-occupancy buildings. They're widely accused of being racist in nature, despite being absolutely vital to uphold the quality of a neighbourhood.

Why would racial disparity have to be the only effect for it to be problematic? Very little has only one effect.

What's the problem with using the word racism even without intent?

Otherwise it's not a racket policy, it's just one that happens to have a racial effect.

Take the example I gave - it only has a racial effect because, in the US, there's a correlation between race and affluence.

How about a link, you know, an actual source?

Or do you just prefer to throw out conspiratorial statements with no supporting evidence? I've heard a lot of good things about that approach. Some bad things too, like coup attempts, but hey who cares.
You have google???

There must be a limit to that freedom though?

You wouldn’t be free, for example, to incite violence or disseminate hate speech, or to defame or libel.

You would however be able to mock or ridicule when it comes to beliefs like religion or political affiliation etc.

Free speech isn’t freedom from the consequences of that speech.
This is the nub of it.

I've always felt that this covers it pretty well

Apple kicking Parler off of iOS is a big deal.

Amazon kicking them off of AWS is a massive one.

It’ll take a lot of work to get it up and running elsewhere.

This is worth a read. It would appear that the quick thinking of a sole policeman drew the angry mob away from the open senate door.

Tinfoil hat time. What if this was a coordinated attempt to take out the presidential line of succession, starting with Pence or enough of them to justify Trump declaring martial law and somehow using this justification to cling on to the reins of power, or at least contest it. What if Barr was not on board and that's the reason he exited. What if Trump tried to get the military on board as you usually need the military for a successful coup, and when that was knocked back they just went ahead with it anyway. And what if the misdirect from this cop saved the republic.

Tin hat off ;)
