He hasn't always played the pass even when the run was made. It has been a very valid criticism of him for the last 2/3 seasons.

I think it's less movement and more a realisation of what he needs to do to get back into the side.

Of course the Sissoko/Winks duo of mediocrity helps neither of them, but that wasn't the sole issue with Winks.
