The Official 2020/21 Premier League Thread

Chelsea have a few players with real skill, but they are not a balanced side. They don't have a top forward. With Calvert-Lewin (Richarleson) prefer Everton's every day. Wouldn't be surprised to see Everton finish above Chelsea in the PL.
Nah
Evertons squad isn’t strong enough
But I agree that Chelsea aren’t balanced
Zouma is joint top scorer... yet I read they can win the league because they spread the basil around :confused:
Surely a world class striker or a striker they spent a LOT of money on would be better (instead of playing him left wing)
Tammy isn’t never gonna be good enough at the very top end
And now Giroud is their go to their relying yet again in a guy that was leaving not too long ago

I've never understood people liking Giroud, even discussing him signing for us! He's bang average. Has been all his career.

Everton are well funded, have some good players, and now have some stability with a great manager. I don't think they'll be consistent enough, but could see them in the top 4. Better than united and possibly Chelsea too. Mainly because they have Calvert-Lewin and Richarlson upfront. Its a robust skillful attack and they are supported by some decent players.

But their squad is threadbare IMO
They have sown decent players and are quite workmanlike but they lack any real depth
They have have to play some players out of position to play gaps

That's true eniugh, the two players he tried to boot out he now realises he can't play without them.
Yep
The guy is clueless
If he made these signings this summer then he has even less of a clue
All good players and some potentially brilliant ones but it still meant he has Alonso at left back if he lost Chillwell. Only one real DM and no striker who will score 20 plus goals a season
But hey.... fwxk em

Well, hard to imagine the day turning out better for Spurs. Everton beat Chelsea, the drabbest of draws between Torpido Manchester and Lackamotiv Manchester and Liverpool paying a high price for going bounty hunting in Midgetland on Wednesday with Diogo Joto out for a coupla mumphs.

5 stars

I just get so frustrated when some teams are hyped up abs were not... yet we’re the ones who should be
Saying that I do prefer being the team that no one believes will win things as it will spur the team on

Im not sure if it really matters if you beat the top teams. Besides the obvious of taking points off them of course. I remember a few seasons ago (2013/14 IIRC) when they had a great record against the top teams, beat city home and away, smashed arsenal 6-0, beat Liverpool when Gerrard slipped and still finished 3rd. They dropped too many silly points against the lesser sides.

I really hate them but lets hope that Chelsea have to rely on Abrahams or Giroud. Irate Werner - he is a good player, quick and tore us a new one last season, but fat frank hasnt figured how he can get the best of him.

we desperately need to beat Palace now. Put that marker down to everyone else. Basically if you fudge up and drop points we don't care because we wont.

Before this season we had chances to go top, and never took them against “weaker” opposition. This season there is a mental resilience there of which I haven’t seen of a Tottenham side. We are taking advantage and we look mentally strong. Is that because we have serial winners in the squad? Is that because we have Jose? Are we using sports psychologists who know how to change that 6 inches between the ears to a winners mindset?

I don’t know, but whatever that shift is, its working and long may it continue.

Went out for meal last night so didnt see the big game of the weekend on sky, how did their experts react to the wonderful game served up to the public?

It does this season, hence why we’re top
