Coronavirus

People who ridicule conspiracies have never been involve in trade unions, politics, local government or multi national companies.

I've worked in multi-national companies, local government and trade. I've lived and travelled all over the world. I'm still firmly grounded in reality. What are you trying to say here?

No testing for Covid is perfect. It's one of the best methods available in terms of limiting false negatives and basically eliminating false positives.

You can read more here: https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/which-test-is-best-for-covid-19-2020081020734

The fact that you're trying to push this narrative of authorities deliberately using an inaccurate testing method for some inexplicable agenda affords me the right to label you a conspiracy nut.

Well, perhaps you might want to label the UK Governement as the same, given what they say here:

https://assets.publishing.service.g...ycle_Threshold__Ct__in_SARS-CoV-2_RT-PCR_.pdf

At the top of page 6:
"RT-PCR detects presence of viral genetic material in a sample but is not able to distinguish whether infectious virus is present. The quantity of intact virus in upper respiratory swabs will be affected by factors that are endogenous and exogenous to laboratory methods."

This is nothing new though? It's not like it's been hidden. False negatives happen with this method, it's why other test methods have been developed, isn't it?

What's the reason they'd deliberately or maliciously use an unreliable test? What's the accusation you're driving at?

..or worked for the BBC and turned a blind eye to Jimmy Saville for years...it's often the very best way to shut down a discussion, especially if taking a deeper look at things is too uncomfortable.
Simply saying "i disagree because x, y, z reasons" would do tbh, that's how normal discourse usually works

No one is claiming conspiracies don't happen. Conspiracy theorists are still idiots though. Do you understand the difference between the two things?

You seem to throw around the terms the most on this site, so i think it only fair that you enlighten us all and explain...

Underhanded or sinister motives for pushing these theories disqualify you of that right.

"The government are deliberately using bogus testing to lock us down, I say release everything and let people die, the numbers aren't that bad,"

That's your take. You don't get a rational reply if that's what you're going to push.

Conspiracy is something that can be proven, with actual evidence.

Conspiracy theory is adding 2 + 2 and getting triangle.

You're just being deliberately dense now, this is why I refused to respond to you a few days ago. I'm done with you.

Translation: "I like to dish out labels as much as possible but don't want to have to reply when i'm called out on my bs, so i'll lash out as much as possible"...

No, you refuse to respond because you talk bs by throwing random labels, but don't like being called out on it.

Unless you can stick to the topic of how we are using PCRs (and not call everyone who raises a question about how its used a "conspiracy theorist") then toddle along

What BS? You still haven't told me or anyone else what the big bad government's motive would be, in your fudged up imagination, for deliberately using a somewhat unreliable testing method.

fudge off back to your cave, troll.

LOL, LOL, LOL.

I notice you've ignored my posts on the PCR testing method and OUR OWN GOVERNMENT'S views on using them.

Never mind, toddle along

I was the one who mentioned the conspiracies most recently. It was in direct response to this:

When PCR tests are used en mass and on anyone that gets admitted to hospital, the intention in the end is not to come out of it, i'm afraid

My take is that you are suggesting the UK Government is using COVID to its advantage to keep the country locked down forever (or perhaps going even further to say COVID is fake? That's not a big leap, you wouldn't be the first to say it).

If you're going to claim that, you're going to get some rebuttal.

What's the motive though? You utter dingdong head. You are the definition of obtuse.

The government recognised that sometimes the test works, sometimes it doesn't. It's the best they had available.

You can't provide a motive because you don't have a fudgein' clue, you loon. Can't even make one up.

Surely it depends on the conspiracy they are talking about, you just cant say people are idiots because they believe in certain issue. Was Churchill an idiot for saying Hitler wanted to dominate Europe or people believing the CIA was funding terrorism in Latin America?

It's obvious why the government are utilizing lock down isn't it? The alien lizard people who form our governments are moving into the final phase of their complete takeover of the planet. You tell them GloryGloryeze.
