Soon teams will actually do this.

If big fat sam was still a manager his teams would. Imagine when one finally goes against united then maybe they will change rule.

Football is not the game it was when I was younger.
One went against them last week
The also go one yesterday to win because of this rule

The problem is that the rules are being made by people who have never played the game. You cannot jump and get any height, without raising your arms.

It’s such a shame to end that way after some lovely football, especially first half.
But do better with at least one of those many many chances and the penalty whilst controversial doesn’t matter.
Unfortunately we now go in deflated and angry rather than upbeat and full of confidence.

Actually the problems have started because VAR and handball don’t mix, as it was still subjective. So they tried to come up with an all defining measure - (any hand ball where arm is away from body) to accommodate VAR.

it was never subjective, for it to be handball it had to be intentional, a considered act

Bitter as fudge now, but we were good today. We're gonna come good, folks. Lots of talent in this team. Unlucky today. COYS!

I agree. That first half was probably the best that we've played under Mourinho. The side looked balanced and the new players played well. The formation also pointed to how we are going to accommodate two attacking fullbacks. Add Bale for Moura and fudging he'll, we're going to be a handful.

Common fudging sense for both the offside rule and handball rule

If they have not stuck their arm out in a stupid way its not a handball

If you need to put lines on a screen to determine offside, its not offside.

I agree with Roy Hodgson. Players are going to look to blast balls at the arms of defenders, flick it up on their arms. Or push them into the way of them, head the ball anywhere close and it might hit and arm. They almost got two penalties in those last few mins. We had one the other end as well that could have been given and was not reviewed. Sad sad sad.
The problem with it, is the reward is far TOO BIG for the offence. An offence that has no malice, intention, and mostly no awareness that you've even done anything. Complete joke.

yep. That’s what I mean that’s it’s not even consistent.

if the rule is hits the hand and it’s handball then give it every time ffs.

Also Chelsea’s third goal yesterday hit the arm more blatantly.
Have you seen the arsenal one vs West Ham?

it was from about 10 yards and he goes to head it and completely miss judges it and it’s clear hand ball yet the didn’t give it

What is the f*cking point.

Time to watch a different sport.

Someone text me when they change the handball rules back again.
