Tanguy Ndombele

Its not looking very good is it, very little news coming out from the club about his progress ( or lack of it), hard to know what is happening but if there are things wrong then maybe its best for all if he was to leave.

Will probably be uncertainty there until the transfer window closes unless he moves before that. I think there's definitely an amount that would see him gone.

Makes it difficult for everyone involved, now the virus and isolation from training to add to that. If he's to come good here I expect it to take some time.

The annoying thing with Ndombele is his ability range is so huge that he could have such an impact on our season in a Suarez, Payet kind of way. Really lift us beyond expectations.

Sadly I don't see it, nothing is pointing to it happening and due to the potential for it to be disruptive or a sideshow id rather resolve it by selling if the price is satisfactory. It festering for another season is not gonna help in any way especially when selling gives us much needed £.

More rumours over the last 24-48 hours about him being sold. Personally, I would be happy with that now given I dont see him making it under Mourinho but would like to see the money reinvested in an Eriksen replacement, which I feel we lack.

I’ve been hanging on to the hope that he’ll turn it around but I’ve finally been dragged to the realisation that we need to get rid and invest.

But you just know that at some point the stars will align for him and he’ll wake up world class one day, and then it’ll be tough watching him tearing it up for another club - I just hope it’s abroad.

Incidentally, all of the above also applied to the final days of Poch.

I think if anyone - preferably from abroad - bids close to £40m, we should snap their hands off. His value is only going in one direction, sadly.

And then, as said, hopefully we can get an Eriksen type replacement in.

Such a shame, as he has so much natural ability, but his mentality just doesn’t seem to be there.

Happy enough to wait and see what happens personally. With his injury towards the end of last season and now covid he's not really had a chance to prove himself on the pitch in months.

If in training and conversation with Mourinho and the coaches he's showing no or few signs of turning things around we're probably better off cutting our losses. Difficult to know what's going on behind the scenes though.

In this market what we can actually get for him with his wages is another question. Him staying despite him wanting out and Mourinho wanting him gone would be the worst situation. But even if that's the case we can't just sell him with no regards to fee.

Difficult and frustrating situation with an obviously supremely talented player with outstanding potential.

Unless there is a clear, clear break with the player we don't know about, this would be my path too.

Looks like Inter are looking to sell Eriksen. Cheeky bid?

Given Covid seemingly has a long term damaging impact on blood vessels, this guys fitness isn't going to be any better next season. Jog on, literally.

I really want that to be true, but I’m sceptical.
Given how his first season went one thing that seemed obvious at the start of the window was that there would be speculation about his future in the media.

Haven't seen any rumours that have seemed trustworthy indicating that he's particularly likely to move.

Essentially nothing has changed in months.
