I think people live in the present and were hoping for just a little bit better.

He may have had another win or 2 since lockdown had a couple of VARs gone his way.

I think Levy will give him til November or December but at that point we'll be say 8th, and Levy will act. Its lukcy in a way that grounds might still be closed next season otherwise atmosphere at games would be toxic

Jose doesnt look like he has the passion any more - going through the motions. Very, very sad to see

We were broken and remain so, but rather than repair what needed fixing we went for the instant fix that was being peddled - funny to see you call that out while backing the band aid...

I can take the fact we are poor and it’s a new manager and he needs time, so I’m not saying sack him.

But the performances against the absolute cack in the league needs to be addressed.

Burnley play with a solid base like we try but they at least have a plan going the other way to build on those negative-esq tactics and that’s based around feeding Wood and his strike partner.

Our system seems be negative and hope the front 4 work something out.

It reminds me of when I was at school and we lumped it to my mate who was class and hope he does something.
 
In the same vein that we should have allowed Poch to carry on for the season( he deserved to), we should by all means give José next season to see what he can do.

I didn’t want José but doesn’t make sense to get rid until we see his plan and the players he wants to get in the new window.

We were not even lumping it to kane though. Tonight i was not sure how he thought we would score, was a bit like Norwich in the cup.

it was brick no doubt, but we didn’t steal a point, it was a fair drawer between a team low on quality but strong on system/work rate and a team high on quality who couldn’t be arsed to show it

The only thing i can think is we are giving kompany enough time to learn the ropes at anderlecht before we appoint him.

I agree 100% but he don’t get a free hit, because we sacked someone and didn’t allow them a free hit either.

90% of fans would have backed keeping Poch

If it’s the same squad we go into next season with I fear it’s going to be much of the same. This lot have downed tools for Jose as they did Poch. Just look at Kane he’s been shocking since returning. Benefit of the doubt and all that but he’s just miles off .

Even the basics are so poor we can’t make five yard passes. That’s on the manager. What’s he doing on the training pitch.

It certainly doesn’t look like they are busting a gut for him. That’s an extremely hard thing to turn round.

The instant fix was backing the players over the manager - the way this season has played out has shown, unquestionably, that the problem is the players.

Don't make me laugh referencing Mourinhos trophy haul - as asked previously what are the transferable skills managing a rich club with expensive experienced players and managing a club that needs a complete rebuild with a smaller budget than several of it's domestic rivals?

Different player in same area gets that space by the nature of how that passage played out...the result might have been different but regardless of the outcome they had a golden opportunity. We had zilch and that is a HUGE worry.

We are making really poor teams look comparative.

thats because we have players not competing, it’s not all of them, but it’s enough of them to hurt us
