its clear that dier has no role to play and sanchez is not good enough.
i think mourinho is making an exhibition of the players, well, for further analysis.

I think there is something in this. My feeling is that much of what is going on at the moment is about showing Levy how much money is going to need to be spent to put things right.

I think it helps to explain the Parrot situation too. Jose plays Parrot - Parrot scores a few goals - Levy tells Jose in the summer that he has a ready made and proven back-up to Kane. Hence the boy isn't getting a look in.

If true, and while it’s speculation Mou does have form for this, I hate it. Using such an alleged tactic at the expense of the supporters who pay their money is appalling and so Jose.

I disagree, how many of our players are playing their best football at the minute?

Aurier, Lo Celso, Lamela, the new signings and kids get a pass too, everyone else is taking the tinkle.

He can't throw them under the bus publicly. He'll lose the player, he'll lose the crowd and he'll lose the rest of the squad who'll be asking "will it be me next". That style of management doesnt work. It's just gratifying for a short time. He can have a go in private though and I expect that's what he's doing.

You bring Mourinho in, you do it to tighten your defence and win games. He's not doing it. Losing to Leipzig, Chelsea and Wolves is not acceptable. Not by a long, long way. And I don't buy the "individual mistakes" as the sole reason. Sure they don't help but well organised teams can deal with mistakes and cover them. We did it under Poch when we were solid.

Jose obviously deserves more time and needs to get his own players in. End of next season at least. But so far, he's been little better than a shattered Pochettino.

That back line against that potent wolves attack was suicide. Our Dutch boys have been awful of late but have at least Toby in there for experience and being able to organize the younger, faster lads.

TBF that back line had Tanganga to deal with Traore which did well

Couldn't agree more and that's on the manager 100%.

It was a bizarre decision. As was the decision to drop Aurier last week with 3 CBs. As was his decision to play Tanganga against Liverpool. The Tanganga one worked out but it was a poor decision.

He's getting things wrong at the moment. He'll get leeway but he shouldn't get a free pass.

Done. Could be level on points with Arsenal soon. Closer to Burnley than Chelsea currently.

Sigh.

Shame as, unlike both games against Chelsea, the overall performance wasn't bad. Shocking defensive errors though and we're not getting anywhere if we keep on conceding at least 2 goals a match. I feel like I'm watching a Jol or Sherwood team in terms of the end to end nature and poor defence currently.
We're nowhere near as good as Jol's Spurs team. Touch and go whether we're as good as Sherwood's.

In fairness, Gerry the Mullet was decent for the first season and a half. Managed to sort out our defence within a couple of weeks with Walker, Austin, Judas, Calderwood and Mabbutt as the cornerstones of it with Howells in front of them. fudge knows why Jose can't do it.
