I felt sorry for the postman, nice bloke, didn’t deserve that

My in laws gave my wife and me a large, garish globe which posed simple geography questions in transatlantically perky yet still rather aggressive tones - think Lloyd Grossman on coke and helium - and came in a box which said clearly that it was for ages 8 and upwards. We were both in our early thirties at the time.
