Coming out from central and want to find good fun place to get quick food and drinks before the Guetta gig at Ally Pally on Friday...any tips?

What? Firstly, it's a good 15 minute walk away at least. Second, if you're going onto the high road then go to Pavro Ockabasi for a coal cooked kebab! If you want chicken, there's a Nandos at Wood Green

The pub right across the road from AP station ... good beers, good crew, ace pizzas and stuff (slightly posh ones ... but they're not expensive) ... is it called The Gate?

i'll second this, it is called the gate. Went here before the 4-4 game as the line from enfield to ally pally was shut so got a taxi to here. Amazing pizza's deffo worth trying and its right on the doorstep of the gig.

Jealous you're going, saw him at creamfields and he was awesome...have fun!
