This was a great win. I put it up there with Real last year. It doesn't sound sexy, because it's City, who we play twice every year, but getting a result against the in form team in Europe (won 22 of their last 23, if I'm not mistaken) and keeping a clean sheet were massive. I want us so much to go through so we can get our revenge against Juve and watch that cvntface Ronaldo cry his way out of the tournament.

City look knackered IMO and didn’t really know how to get any real momentum

And a win to send our UEFA club co-efficient SOARING!

VAR is utter turd.

They have changed the handball rule because of it

It missed Hugo being off line/Jan being in box

It missed an elbow to Harry's head

instantly makes any joy out of scoring goals - Son wasnt even close to being off side or the ball being fully over the line.

Only if it’s clear..., the argument would be its subjective.

I’d argue the hand ball call was subjective too but the rules on handballs now are my favourite buttplug
But it was clear. We all saw it and so would whoever was watching it for the VAR

Peter Walton, elbow to back of the head is OK.
And people don't think football is fudged.
It was three distinct and separate clunks to Harry's head. The first in the jump, we can forgive the body slam on the way down, then there was an elbow, then a shove with the hand on the bonce.

Is he the qunt on BT who always backs the ref because he was a ref himself? He is one pointless qunt.

"was the ref right?"

"yes."

And if that's not him, then phuck whoever this Peter Walton is anyway!

Var, doesn’t miss anything, the referees don’t apply what it shows them correctly.

This was a great performance. And with a touch more luck in front of goal we would have been more comfortable for the return. The first half we were pretty solidly in charge, and in the second when Blood-Soaked Oil FC tried to up the tempo we were never seriously threatened. And despite the constant wind ups with fouls and nattering to the ref the team kept their cool. And NEVER stopped. Another great European night at the New WHL!

I know it's the first. Of MANY!!!
