whatever...we have to win the games left or most...make any slip ups and
were out..
spose we could have a second referendum or a couple of replays...as points don't count in the real world..
:p:D

tinkled me off that the attendance wasn’t a sellout... I tried to get tickets for about 5 hours in total and would have given a fairly large portion of my nads to have been there tonight...

This. I predict Arse will get third now, unfortunately, but with Chelski and Manure still having to face each other, and them also playing Liverpool and City respectively, fourth is within reach.
If we are in the top 4 come the end of the season then I'm not too bothered who else is. But if I had a choice I'd prefer to see Utd in there with us rather than the other London clubs.

Performance from both the fans and the players was average but in both instances we will build up momentum as the games come. The stadium really is impressive, and it really did feel just like WHL - the pitch and everything. Only difference is I can get internet connection in the new stadium:D...

Agreed.

The Goons need that Champions League moolah just as badly as ourselves in order to keep their squad together and so do the Chavs now that Abramovich appears to have had enough of his plaything. However ManUre are such a financial behemoth that they can afford to sign big name players even if they’re in Europa Cup, so the lesser of 3 evils to join us in CL.

My thinking exactly. I think the goons have to reduce their wage bill for FFP reasons, or something like that. No CL will just compound the problem.

I really don’t get it. If you’re going to a game, it’s to see your team play and win. If the score is 2-1 with 15 to go, it could go either way. Where is the logic in leaving?
I left after the whistle, and it was a lot easier to leave the southstand than get a beer in there.
But walking past white Hart Lane, and seeing the queue for the station back to the high road, you can see why people want to get away, especially on a school night.

After playing at pool and giving it our all, and our poor string of results, it was an effective, get our feet under the table performance. Once the side settle they will be more fluid. The movement wasn't always as good as it can be, and passing could have been quicker, but we didn't need to take it to another level. Palace had very few openings. Job done!
