Cheatski are still scum

Quite a few regular gamblers on GG.

So, could I ask you folks to tell us what the chances are of all the following happening: Spurs going 10 v. 11 in the most important game of the season + the worst performance by a goalkeeper in over 350 EPL games this season + the jammiest result in years and years of the European Cup?

What are the chances of all 3 of those things happening? All 3, mind. 2 doesn't count. You need all 3 to happen for the wager to be live.

The answer, of course, is that there is absolutely no fudging chance of all those 3 things happening. None. A million to fudging one or something. No chance.

But, it's Spurs. If you can't accept that this is the way things are for us - every year, every decade, time and time and time again - then may I humbly suggest you fudge off and support someone else. Because this is our heritage and tradition. fudged up the arsehole always. If it didn't happen, then it wouldn't be Spurs. Success? fudge off. fudge right off. "Success"? Hahahahahahahha. Toughen the fudge up you pansy. Success. Oh, fudge me, stop it, please! Man up and grow a fudging pair.

Toughest fans in the fudging world because we EXPECT this. Bring it the fudge on. It is not possible to break us because we've seen it all before. Disappointed? Hahahahahahahaha. fudge off. fudge you, disappointed. There's been far fudging worse and there will be far fudging worse. Bring. We're fudging bullet proof.

COYS.

GHod is a Gooner simple

Just noticed, the only time Bayern won the CL was by beating inexperienced Valencia on penalties ! They have lost to every decent teams they have come up against in Finals : Villa, Porto, ManU, Inter and Chelsea !

I specifically remember 3 posters (probably more tbh) stating how great Gomez is. A few even had the audacity to claim he was better than RVP. When they said it i laughed uncontrolobly and yesterdays performance was one of the worst i've ever seen from a frontman. Ade has NEVER put in a performance as bad as that for us.

TBF is there are more clinical team in world football than Chelsea? They only need one or two chances and they score where as all other teams (not just Spurs) need quite a few. Chelsea are a team with a core (Lampard, Cech, Drogba, Terry, Cole) that have played together for eight years or more and are experienced older players, they understand how to win in all situations and their mental strength comes through. Not many teams have that.

Bottled it in a way I thought only Spurs could

Honestly, didn't it feel exactly like a Spurs game to everyone else?

it WAS a Spurs game... of sorts! It's just the part of Tottenham Hotspur was being played (perfectly as it turned out) by Bayern Munich!

There is if you're PAYING the right people to MAKE SURE it happens.... jus' sayin'!

If Bayern were Spurs, Chelsea were definately Liverpool as they played under Benitez - dog brick football and hoping for lucky breaks.

Politely, perhaps what we need less of is people going around asking how many brick threads we need.

And as for the sentiment expressed in the thread, I agree. The least likely disasters always become 99.99 percent certainties to happen when attached to Spurs. Decades of this, all the way from John White's tragic but horrendously random death, have led to the older Spurs fans being grizzled old sods with voices like supercooled titanium being put into a cheesegrinder and a weary, knowing look in their creased eyes. Us younger folk already possess that air of inevitable doom, so it's fated we'll join them someday, to take their long-suffered place so the madness, pain and despair can start all over again.

Spurs. Oh, Spurs. You see the ****erel, and you're staring into the very face of insanity.

But I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world. Come on you Serial Underachievers! This will be our year!

Politely, but very drunk:

We really don't need a dozen threads about what could have been. We're not playing CL next season and that's it.

Bayern did all they could, Robbery were brick and Gomez non existant. If only one of them showed up it would have ended different.

I think people are just posting here to vent their disappointments and anger over not making it to CL next season. How else are you going to overcome the anger ?It is going to be like this until the next season starts. Fortunately, there are Euro2012 and Olympics in between to divert our attention to.

It died more than 10 years ago. This was just reaffirming it. I will never again care about football, I just love Spurs too much to simply walk away.

I got drunk, but I didn't really care in the first place as football for me died years ago. I just hate Cheatski.

It just shows what everyone knows already - the premiership and the CL titles can be bought. You dont get trophies for playing good football and playing fair. In fact, the opposite applies - to be a top team you must have a dirty team.

This season has become the Perfect storm... it was coming, and now the stars have finally (been bought) to align... Emirates Marketing Project & Chelsea have joined forces and are now murdering what was left of our game... in fact, the only game you can 'trust' as of next season will be Emirates Marketing Project v Chelsea, as they have the only two owners rich enough not to be bought!

After a terrible night's 'sleep' I have come to the conclusion that irrespective of our inability to finish third, Chelsea's win is definitely down to witchcraft and the dark arts - it's the only answer: Barca battered them, BM battered them and you couldn't have written the the rest of the script. That is why Roman is so rich - he's sold his soul in a Faustian pact but it will, at least, mean an etenity of suffering and soul munching from devils when he shuffles off to the other side.

This summer will be very interesting now.

But - the club is moving forward. This is a real blow as it's put us back two or maybe three years, but we will have a beautiful new stadium soon, we are Spurs, we nearly nearly nearly did it and DL will certainly need to be serious about freshening up the squad. We should - should - use this as the motivation to know we were that close, know we are competing aginst teams with almost bottomless pockets.

That said, Chelsea need rebuilding, Arsenal need rebuilding, Liverpool are and will still be brick, Everton will do what Everton always do - this is now the test for us. Like us, Saudi Sportswashing Machine will probably be under a real pressure to sell some of their big guys, but we're better than them, just.

Let's get over this blip, see who's got the grit to take us forward. All this talk about Bale and Modric, well, who knows - they stay: great. They go: bucket load of cash and energised, incoming players who know where we are and are only looking forward.

And, we get 6 point of the horrible Hammers and witness Big Sam's lovely football up close.

We are Spurs, we will be fine, we've come a long way in four years, we're heading forwards - we have been unlucky, but at the end of the day, we create our own reality and our bad Feb/March is what did for us.

Let us embrace the future.

I'm still shocked that Rose was our back-up leftback to be honest. And not because of the Villa game, I've never seen what attributes make him a top level player in any position. A few 'good' games at the back end of last season, including a win at Anfield, didn't change that.
