Emirates Marketing Project WIN RACE FOR HARRY KANE WITH INCREDIBLE PROPOSAL
Harry Kane will move to Emirates Marketing Project this summer after Tottenham were ready to accept an astonishing offer of £86million plus Gabriel Jesus for their prolific frontman, according to reports.

The talismanic Tottenham striker, linked with moves to some of the world’s biggest clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United, is poised to make the shock move north this summer to City, according to Diario Gol.

They claim Pep Guardiola’s side will win the race to sign the prolific frontman as a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero by offering Tottenham an enormous cash injection as well as an immediate replacement in Gabriel Jesus.

The Spanish outlet claim Tottenham value Kane at €200m and will accept City’s offer of Jesus (valued at €100m) plus a further cash offer of €100m (£86m).

Kane has done little to indicate he wants to leave Totteham any time soon, but the paper claims he will be tempted by the chance of winning trophies at City and for the chance to play under Pep Guardiola, while the transfer will also further his quest to beat Alan Shearer’s record as the Premier League’s highest-ever goalscorer.
 
In all honesty though, it's the fairest value I've seen offered. Real and Barca have been linked, but with fairly derisory offers.
 
I'm being realistic here though. From the figures online, Neymar cost £200m, Mbappe £166m. As much as we love him, Harry would not cost £100m more than Neymar. I also feel that there is going to be a fall in what players are worth, I don't think we can continue with transfers going ever skyward. Real are showing with Hazard and Eriksen that they won't pay comparable prices (granted Eriksen having a year on his contract has fudged us somewhat there).

I actually think that £200m would be a fair value for Harry, but Jesus is not a £100m player. I'd say that the sum of that "offer" is closer to £175m.
 
Today demonstrates why the ‘Half his goals are penalties’ thing is a load of rubbish even if it was true. To take a penalty is harder than your standard chance as you have the pressure of expectation from the crowd, opposition trying to put you off and the keeper has a genuine shot at saving it. Yet the ice man has the most ridiculous record taking them, and has done it consistently in the NLD which is pressure of the highest order. And then you see another apparent top striker in Auba take his, and oh dear. Not in the same class.....
 
Starting to remind me of Steven Gerrad in that what Gerrad was to Liverpool, Kane is to us, both good and bad.


Good player but needs everything to go through him.
 
The minute that pen was saved, he sprinted down to Lloris and Verts, grabbed them both and hugged the crap out of them, yelling his heart out when he did so.

Well, he put Verts in an headlock, but that was the best he could do in the circumstances .:p The point was, he used that to get the team pumped up again in the dying minutes of the game.

He's a leader. But, more importantly, he's also Spurs. And hopefully (I'm praying here), he always will be.

In the summer Kane will still have 5 years left on his contract, add to that the fact that any buying club would be negotiating with Daniel Levy, I think I would be shocked if he left us for less than £300m
 
Have to say he was having a shocker today
He always seemed to play head down rather than his Isla head up facing play
But feck me an he deal with pressure moments like that penalty

In the first half, he was only marginally offside with a great header. He also made one of our best chances, for Eriksen. Nobody else showed any vision today.

And then of course, stuck away the penalty when needed (as well as winning it in the first place). Far from a shocker imo, on another day he'd have had 2 goals and an assist.
