10 games left....need at least 5 wins and a couple of draws,so we could lose to man bricky and 'pool... 77 points should do it. We can't lose Saturday, take a point, then a win at Southampton ,then pull the drawbridge up for a few weeks and get ready for liverpool, get everyone fit and ready.Games like this we needed Dembele,we should have bought a replacement for him knowing he was going in January.

Last night ....can't believe we keep losing to those gypos all the time...chelsea captain at least he turned up for a change, any confrontation where ever on the pitch he popped up,made me laugh when he appeared when Luiz was kicking lumps out of kane at the end and chest pumping and everything, where the feck was he on Sunday, hiding in the corner like a kid then, two faced taco.

Don’t hold with this rubbish of this or that player does not giving a brick, that’s insulting. These guy have given sterling performances over the past few seasons.
Our attacking was muddled and disorganised, this is Pochettino’s remit.
Poch put out a team good enough

No he didn’t, sadly.
We were muddled in attack and there is literally no attacking midfield worth a mention.
Winks and Sissoko put in valiant effort in that department. We did not have one shot on target. Kane and Son look bereft of cohesion and the less said about Eriksen the better.
Bringing on Llorente was just about the icing on the toad in the whole!

See I would let this go except when others don't perform its their fault and people are quick to point it out, so why is it now pochs fault?

Tottenham striker Harry Kane was "lucky" not to be sent off against Chelsea on Wednesday after he "deliberately moved his head towards" Cesar Azpilicueta, says ex-referee Mark Clattenburg. (Mail)

I thought the ref was poor last night. Commentary were talking him up for letting everything go, I dont think it was a positive.

Rudiger was in an MMA match, not a football match, and it shouldnt have been allowed.

Chelsea were cheating fouling clams, and he let them carry on.

Not hat I blame him for the loss, we seem to have developed a weakness against teams that try to bully and disrupt us. Times like that I think Dier and Alli and Wanyama are missed.

Sissoko and Winks as well as they have done are not a top 4 pairing.

Sissoko as a pure destroyer is ok but we need some creativaty/someone that can commit a player or two.

Getting rid of Dembele for the sake of 6 months was silly, if fit he was still our best CM option.

We do have the weakest CM in the top 6

Give over!

You dont just install a meteorology like software. He has given this group everything they need to grow and step up, and they have time and again - but it is THEY who need to make those steps. A winning attitude cant just be taught or forced in, they need to get there themselves.

His comments were to that effect. And last night they let him down.

I expect today they will be getting some home truths because of it.

Some people just love to pull the negatives out that arent even there, dont they? His comments were clear as day FFS.

This cycle of players is pretty much over now

I would love us to get an older pro in like we did with David's to try and improve it.

I dont know about that. Most of the side has a good few years in them before they are past it/not stepping up enough.

I can think of a handful maybe ripe to move, but thats it.

Depends how you define cycle I guess?

Dembele gone/ wanyama gets injured sitting down - that's the CM we had

Toby looks off

Christian potentially off

Rose isn't the force he was

Disagree. I think Rose is getting back to very close to how good he was a couple of seasons ago. He's been up there as our best player in each of last few games he's played.
However, his injuries haven't helped but what is much, much more frustrating is Poch's fudging desire to keep rotating the full backs!! Just as Rose picks up some form he gets benched!! Momentum is key and it does my nut in whenever I see Rose on the bench!

Rose has been much closer to his old self last few games. Alderweireld and Eriksen have barely had a break.

Agreed that we miss Dembele and Wanyama, but getting Dier and Alli back should help there.

Think we both agree that CM/AM is an area we must bolster during the next transfer window.
